skimming - "The act of producing
unauthorized copy of an electronic security device while it is
being used for its intended purpose. Note: Originally, skimming
meant making an illegal copy of a credit card or a bank card
when the original was being used correctly. Typical methods of
skimming involve use of a modified reader that reads and stores
all the information that the original card contains."
